    4k NVRs?

It looks like the S2008 can only handle 1 4k camera feed. Is that correct? What do I buy to handle 4 4k cameras?

    4k NVRs?

I'm looking at two of the Axis 1428 4k cameras. Looks like it should be compatible with Companion. I'm mainly looking for lag-free android/ios based apps so I can place wall tablets. WiFi signal is 100% throughout the house. We have a couple Nest cameras, but the app quality is pretty horrible. Hard to view previous recordings, constant force close, unable to see all cameras in live/real-time. I think I may just need to get the two 1428 cameras, a POE switch, and test out both software platforms locally to see what the app experience is like. I can't find much testing/examples online for the apps.

    4k NVRs?

Online seems to be around $2230. What's the main difference between the S2008 and Companion NVR for 1/4 the price? https://www.axis.com/za/en/companion/products-and-solutions/axis-companion-recorder-8ch I can't really find any reviews for either system. Do they both run the same iphone apps/software?

    4k NVRs?

I ran across the Axis S2008 which is a 4k NVR. I want to pair it with 4 cameras at the house. Anyone know much about this model? I'm looking for something that I can stream 24/7 from an Android type wall mounted tablet. So as long as the app quality is good, the tablet should work fine. I tried one really cheap NVR, but it broke within a few weeks.

    Hidden Camera?

I'm running WebCam XP on my desktop with a USB camera connected. I would like to add a hidden camera somewhere, and I am not sure what hidden camera to use. The quality of my current web cam is perfectly fine for my needs (Logitech Obit Web Cam), so I only need something to that quality. Any suggestions for hidden cameras?

    Logitech Orbit for Security?

Can you explain that a bit more? What is a single channel web server?

    Logitech Orbit for Security?

Anyone else looking for the same solution as me, you may want to try Webcam XP. So far, it is everything that I need!

    Logitech Orbit for Security?

I have a Logitech Orbit web camera and wanted to setup some sort of cheapo security system with it. Ideally, I would like to be able to view the camera online (outside of my home network) and upload either video or still images of movement (it supports motion detection). What's the least expensive way to achieve this with decent quality? I know Logitech has a Command Center program that lets you control everything, however, their website says you need to use their specific surveillance cameras in order for that software to work. What's the next best thing here? I have an FTP site I can upload images to (I'd rather not save them to my computer).

    5-8 Camera Wireless System?

I want to start out with 5 wireless night vision cameras (4 outdoor 1 indoor). I have a budget of around $1500, not sure where to start. I have wireless internet within the house, and I believe it will reach outside without issues too. I've setup a few DIY Q-See systems that have wired cameras, never got into the wireless though. It sounds like wireless cameras are called IP/Network Cameras, is that right? I want to be able to record video from all of the cameras, whenever there is motion. If that is not possible, I would at least like to be able to get a bunch of still images taken. I would also like to be able to watch the cameras over the internet. Is this something that can be done for $1500? If not, what kind of numbers are we talking about here? Is there some kind of base unit I should start with? I've seen a couple Axis cameras, are there other Network/IP cameras I should look at?
