I noticed a lot of DVR cards have the VIDEO OUT Rca port beside the BNC inputs. Are there any out that can display a QUAD display on the out
instead of flipping between channels.

Thanks

I would assume the video out would mimic the screen,a $40 processor would give a split screen plus a few other options on its monitor output .

Which card has a video out?

What I have done to have dual output is to have a dual output video card ($50-60 FX5200 card). Clean, simple, and takes all the video processing away from the processor vs having onboard video do it.

Can get a DSP card which gives real time video out with RCA also.

You can also use a TV out box such as the one made by Avermedia, this goes between the monitor & PC. It supplies a composite & S video output to mimic the screen to a TV/Monitor.

I have had trouble using the video out from the PC's video card on a geo setup. Some cards would work ok but somtimes you had to fool with the resloution to keep from getting a pink screen on the video out side. I have gone to scan converter box and it solves the problem. A little extra expense but a whole lot less problems.

That's actually the card I got.

I'm gonna just split the coax and run it into a multiplexer.

The yellow monitor port only does 1 channel at a time. I thought there'd be a way to change it

It shows only 1 at a time (switching) not multiple at same time

Use the RCA TV out on the Radeon Video Card, it works great .. just have your DVR start up in Full Screen Multiview mode, and in the TV output of the video card, i have it working here perfectly.

Also the DSP card RCA out will give you multiview real time up to 480fps of higher quality like the standalones.. you can have them boot on start up also.

Done both ways both work great.
