OK, you asked for it. This might be worth a laugh.
I wasn't going to post it, but hey what the heck.
It was recorded with a GV1240-8 card using a Sanyo VDC-D1184VA surface mount Day/Night dome camera. Laying on the floor for a quick test.
Good Lighting in hallway.
Using Geo's FastMpeg4 codec. (GEOX) 720x480 30fps.

Here is another one, same card, recorded at 640x480 and at 5-7fps using the same camera as above.
This file is an executable what will load the Geo codec onto your system so the video will play at the proper speed. So if you get some type of anti-virus warning or anything, this file is ok.
Female Bartender kissing a female customer. No it is not that kind of Bar. Don't know what got into her, maybe too much booz.

[edit by mod - exe file tested okay for download, rk]

Same Setup:
Guy thought he was going to get away with stealing one of those nice Neon Signs. Notice him on top of a stool taking the sign down right at closing time. Bartender was in on it.
The sign was returned.
This is another executable file that loads the Geo codec required for viewing the video at the proper speed.

OK here is another sample:
It was recorded with a GV1240-8 card using a Sanyo VDC-D1184VA surface mount Day/Night dome camera.
It is located in a dimly lit bar and recorded at 640x480 8fps using the MPEG4 codec (interlace). Better quality codec then the other examples above.
Remember this is in a dark bar. This camera looks great in daylight or good lighting.

if you need the codec to play it, download the geofix program from Rorys post above.

brand = GeoVision
model = GV600-16
resolution = 320x240
method = Geo Mpeg4
type = smart motion
fps = 30fps (Variable - 7 cameras)
This camera is a KT&C miniature camera (480tvl) hidden in a sign. There is a sign at each teller location.
This guy robbed the bank (verbally) and was caught a day later.
Notice how he has a hood on to help conceal his identity. During the 11th second of this video, he turns so you can get a clear picture of his face. It was one of the frames from the 11th second that they printed in the local paper. Our name wasnt mentioned in the article, but everyone we showed it to commented on how clear the picture was.
BTW - I would love to find someone that works with plexiglass to make us some new "sign cameras"
Edit - AVI extension not allowed to be uploaded. Going to fix it.

It only affected my house and me neighbor. Power company came within about an hour and replaced the big flashlight-sized fuse on the pole and we're fine now. I played back my CCTV to see if I caught the lightning...

Post subject: Frametest recording
|
Brand: Geovision
Model: GV-1120/8
Channels: 1
Files: 2
Recorded from DVD player and the movie "Three Kings" http://imdb.com/title/tt0120188/
2 files the first one is recorded in D1 @ 30 FPS and the second one is 1 FPS, this orginate from a PAL DVD & recording.
Purpose: To compare a "Full Motion" vs. "Lower frame rate" in the same resolution and from the same source. Due to the difference between PAL 25FPS & NTSC 30FPS, the second file is having 1 frame each second that would in PAL mean 0,8 frame per second.
I will when finishing my holiday see if I can do some testing at a retailer after hours to check where the lowest recomended framerate would be at a retailer.
Also later since we can use the multiview playback try to play it at 4 different framerates at once.
http://www.dvr.no/published/frametest.zip This comes with the Geovision codec and even the databasefiles.
Have a look!
