hmmm...sounds like this is a dead end. I would like to have something
that alerts shopstaffs of known troublemakers/shoplifters, but I guess
that printouts are the only sensible option there is.
Maybe Geo will implemet something in the future Smile

The problem with facial recognition is all it takes is some glasses or a hat to throw it off. So they application you are refering to would best be dealt with either a good staff who know the rift raft or somebody monitoring the store constantly.

There are software that takes care of the glasses/beard/fake nose
problem, but what I know they are expensive and not possible to combine
with the DVR system.
It just would be nice to be able to add that extra sparkle to the DVR
system. Well, back to motion tiggered troop mines idea then Laughing

my previous co had previously installed a few of those facial recognition devices for a co. from my experience..i'd say it's not been perfected just yet. there's a lot of initial problems (yes you read it) and the customer nearly demanded a change of system..
