First Place Package: GV-1480 and one of the following items (Control Center, Center V2, or VSM)

All of these packages are excellent and are well worth the effort of trying to win them.
Contest Information:
Contest begins October 1st and ends on October 31st 11:59PM PST
Signup extended a couple of more days - Must be a
registered member by October 5th 11:59 PM (CST)
to participate in this contest - don't worry there will be other contests
How do you win? Just visit the site often and post helpful
information. The member with the most useful posts and/or
articles posted between October 1st and 31st 2006 wins.
Posts in Intrductions, Test Bench, CCTVForum (Site Forum),
Dealers, Classifieds, Product Annoucements and Annoucements will
not be counted.
An original, unpublished article of 300 words or more will be counted as
6 posts.
Submit all articles to this thread so they can be viewed by all and publically tracked.
If you submit an article, it has to be spell-checked and the information has to be accurate. In other words, if you are new the the CCTV industry maybe you should just stick with helpful posts; or do your research before attempting to write an article. 
Winner will be annouced November 3rd after the posts are reviewed.

Firstly, let me the thank Geovision for stepping in and sponsoring this contest.
OK, the results are in.
The winners are:
1st - KensPlace with 99 posts wins the GV-1480 and one of the following items (Control Center, Center V2 or VSM)
2nd - CollinR with 68 posts wins the GV-800-16 and one of the following items (same as above)
3rd - JIsaacMagee with 35 posts wins the GV-800-4 and one of the followng items (same as above)
You can tell by the post counts that this was pretty much a give away instead of a contest. But that is fine, because many people contribute here and giving back is good for the community.
If you were not able to participate in this contest, don't worry because next year we will be regularly rolling out more contests.
(Note: I have not announced this on that site yet, but - starting now - I will give the top 3 posters at www.alarmboard.com $100, $75 and $50 Amazon Gift certificates ( 1st - 3rd). That contest will end December 1st, so if you need Christmas moola, here is your chance to win some. No restrictions on what forums you can post in too. So far I think the spammers are winning )

Hey thank you! I knew about the contest but I definately didn't think I would be in the running. I didn't change my posting style during this time or anything. I guess I'm just a loudmouth  .

Only prob with that is it was a bit Biased,
An administrator and a Moderator both won 2 of the prices,
of course they will have the most posts....

Let me clear this up now. KensPlace and CollinR were NOT moderators during this contest.
They were made moderators well after this contest was finished and were chosen because moderator candidates need to 1: visit the forum and 2: post frequently.
This contest was based on post counts so they were asked to become moderators when the other moderator, Thomas, left. It was an very obvious call.
Current moderators are NOT allowed to participate in contests. So, no one here was, or is, trying to cheat.

I visit from time to time as I limit my time to forums, as you know u can spend alot of precious ( money making time) helping others,
but its ok,
I dont mind helping where I can, and Im sorry I just noticed they were mods, sorry it was after the fact guys,
