I have a Cyberdome D/N 18X camera with KTD-312 interface box. I have connected to it with a PC and fed it Ascii codes to make the PTZ function on the test bench so I know it functions correctly. I will add more cyberdomes as they come available (ebay Wink ). They seem to be a good camera. I want to install them in my barn to observe birthing animals from the house as well as offsite. I don't really need record/review just live view with PTZ control. I have CAT 5e run to the barn so I was initially thinking of a video web server but many do not work with Kalatel protocol (Axis is the only one I know does). A Kalatel DVMRe may be a possible solution but the models I reviewed allow remote review/live but don't seem to allow realtime PTZ control (am I wrong?). Advice, caveats...what say you. /Glenn

Do I need a keyboard for camera setup or is there setup software available to setup tours, limits, etc?
