Post subject: My new cctv camera's for outside.
|
Some mid price range camera's for outsite, hope they give a nice view 
Gona put a balun on al of them and run it whit 20 meters of cat 5.
This gona be the first time i gona use can 5, so hope is better than coax.
(By the way witch wire i need to use for video?)

Congrats!!! It's always fun opening boxes from UPS and seeing things you've purchased, I love it. As far as which ones to use for video it will not matter inside of the Cat-5 as long as you use the same ones the same way on each end.
The small white boxes are your power supplies am I rite? Why not a distributive power supply box?

Rory I think ypu are right about low or budget. All camera's I have ordered that came in plain box's with no brand name they are just low priced camera's for the most part. Good luck I see IR's on your camera's most of these type camera's pull 1 amp power at 12 volts dc 100 foot on cat 5 is pushing the 24 guage wire for power. Also do not split pairs on twisted wire.
PAIR 1= White,Blue/Blue,White
PAIR 2= White,Orange/Orange,White
PAIR 3= White,Green/Green,White
PAIR 4= White,Brown/Brown,White

Yes cheaper cams, eBay item numbers: 300195881114, 300157116614.
I hope they give a nice picture, i hate to see green grass as brown and red cars like orange
 
Can u use the baluns outside? tape them in whit weather proof tape.
(the tape to seal coax and connectors for outside use)

Altronix is only about $30 more than the OEM PSUs. Get individual fuses, etc, and a small box.
Otherwise he could just buy a 2amp Transformer from a local electronic store ($10) and splice all the cameras into that .. 
From experience though, its not a good idea to go cheap on the PSU.

I wasn't saying to pass up on getting the Altronix power supply I was just saying I didn't know his budget
Buy cheap power supplies once and possibly end up buying cameras twice!
