The system I set up and configured with the dvr365 at our offices works fine and the software is able to see a couple of other installations that the company has done.
The latest installation that we have configured is being slightly finicky. From within the office, with all the pcs using the same software, only 1/3 can see the latest installation via the web.
My pc can see the site with the cameras but my boss's cant. Any logical explination for this? Everything else works fine but for this latest installation, only my pc running the client software will view the cameras despite all our machines being on the same network.

Hope that makes sense, cheers.

I don't know this particular device, nor do I know what operating system your computers are on. But, I've seen some Windows XP computers block ActiveX type controls without warning the user that the ActiveX control was blocked.

If you seem to log onto the DVR but don't see anything, try CTRL+F5 and see if something changes.

I have seen where some newer computers work fine, and older computers do not.

At first we tried things like updating Active X to 9.0, and other tricks, and updates to no avail.

Solution:

We ended up playing musical chairs with the computers.

QUESTION: Why is there always enough time to go back and fix it right a second time??
