Yes, Here in the UK the Law seems to be on the side of the Criminal and not the Victim

It's not just there it's everywhere from the US to europe, We have alot of idiots making laws. The world is the way it is because of these laws..
Would love to know if they ever will catch this idiot, Once he gets his slap on the wrust he will be out mugging more people or even worse. Got to hand to the Asian countries you steal well lets just say you will need help lifting things up from now on,

Same sort of crime down here in NZ. Lots of idiots mugging people, robbing shops at gun or knife point. Lots of teenage "gangs" based on what they see on rap videos.
Courts just hand out wrist slaps, crims are OK with it as it simply improves their street cred.

How can you see *anything* in a CCTV lens? There must be a sheet of protective glass (possibly with a smoked or mirror finish to keep the cameras discrete) that he was using.
