Post subject: How to adjust the brightnes properly

I have a GV800 card running Geo 8.2 with Two Pelco 1390's and Two Panasonic WV-CP474's. They are all day night cameras. They all have an auto Iris lens. The problem I'm having is. At night it is real dark out there. So I turn up the video signal gain and I can see thing a lot more better. But when the Sun comes up the picture is to bright. Any suggestions how to fix this problem so I don't have to keep re adjusting the video gain when I get up? Thanks Dave

as far as I know not, having the same problem.
Couple optioms I thought of:
- Have a build in scheduler for cam settings and use time and location to adjust day/night (because it's different in every country and time of the year)
- Input based per cam, so you can use a light sensor (cheap)
- Automatic gain control (software) based on levels you set ....
Would make a difference to get better video's.
