The Eyemax I'm working with, seems to be working fine, until I tried to put it online. I did MANY Geovision, Designated Micros and Linux systems, so I'm very familiar with port fowarding, DMZ, etc.

The problem here is that I cant get to see the DVR not even inside the network. If I ping the DVR within the network, I see it, but whenever I tipe the internal IP: 192.168.1.XX, it doesnt find it. If I try to assign a port to that IP: 192.168.1.XX:80 asks me for software to view it.

What I need to know is what settings do I have to set the DVR in order to view it over the network. I would appreiciate any king of help.

THANK YOU

In the DVR Settings under the Network tab, Change the Web Server Port to 9090 and then port forward ports 9090 to 9102, place check in the web login required box. Add at least 1 user with a password other than the one's that came default.

First make sure enabled all activeX controls on your PC.
Then login to the DVR locally using Internet explorer not the client software, you must use http://.
eg:-http://192.168.1.100:9090.

That's it as long as you forward the ports on the router you should be good to go.
