Hi

Ive managed to get hold of 3 Dennard 2050 Domes. I couldent get a power supply at the time so i got hold of a standered 240Vac - 24Vac 6a trasformer. Ivve connected the power and the BNC to a moniter and powered up the cameras. 2 of the cameras have a green LED inside that flashes 4 times, the dome then moves slightly after that. Throughout all this i get no video feed. The dome then sits still facing straight down and does nothing.

Please can someone help me with this as i kinda need to get these working and cant get my head round why their not.

Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe i had the same prob with a 2050 after powering up they will go through a test routine i assume thats why its moving. and they do have a green led to tell you if you have power and data.If you have no picture the internall dome might be shorting to the housing and the cable will get verry hot if this happens. Also have a look in the amphenol connector it might be that the video cable has snapped off.Another thing dennards are only supposed to run on 18 volts ac but i have mine on 24 so hope this helps best regards Sam Very Happy
