Hey all,

I was just put in charge of maintenance on our aging camera system at my company. I have nearly 100 Checkpoint Clarity Concept PTZ domes throughout the company and not a single installer saved an instruction manual.

One of my stores has four domes and every single one of them is set to channel one on the controller - needless to say, this makes for an interesting situation when trying to follow a suspect... I have a manual on order from Checkpoint but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to readdress these domes?

I have pulled down a dome and couldn't find a single dip/jumper anywhere and none of the menus available via normal means provide any hints.

Appreciate the help.

Just incase anyone else is wondering, I was finally able to figure this out.

If you enter the menu system and go to about->service->insert device

Once on that screen, you need to press the service pin on the dome that needs to be readdressed. This pin is located on the camera side of dome underneath the hood. Small metallic pin that you press with a paperclip or something similar.

Once you press this pin, you need to return to the head end and you will be given the opportunity to manually assign an address to that dome. Rinse and repeat for each additional dome.

If you use a switcher, these addresses are automatically assigned depending on which port of the switcher the dome is plugged in to.

Hope this helps someone else too.
