Bomb blast @ my home

Hello friends,

On 28th march a very unfortunate event happened in my home when 2 guys on a motorcycle passed by one side of my house and threw a bomb in my house damaging the building heavily but by grace of God no one was hurt. I want to share the video with u guys so if some one can please help enhancing it in best possible way so the police here can identify and proceed with the case. I have already given the video to police but I have little hope as they haven't done any thing yet. I l live in Peshawar a city in the northern region of Pakistan. Kindly guide me how to send u the video. The video that I got from my DVR is in AVI format. Attaching Avi format is not allowed on this forum. I created a link for the video hope it works:

This video is not the original one as I was trying my self to enhance it but very confused. Only difference is that I have increased the number of pixel and crop it a little from top and down as much as I could understand.

I can share the original too if this is not okay. Any help will be appreciated.

Pls just don't disregard it. This is the second time these ppl have targeted my house both time by the grace of God there was no casualty only damage to building. After the first blast I installed the CCTV cameras.

There is nothing to enhance there. You know it was two guys on a motorcycle, and that is all you will know from that recording.

Well I would have to wonder what you have done to these people for them to target your house more than once.

Frankly a bomb is not a typical neighbourhood dispute type of retaliation tactic that I've ever witnessed.

Tipping garbage in your drive or dog mess into your garden I can understand as a get even type prank, but a bomb? No way,

you MUST have some clue as to why they are trying to kill or frighten you.

I don't believe the police aren't taking any action or aren't interested. It may be that it's you they are not interested in for whatever reason, however they will be making investigations as this is not a everyday thing and public safety is a serious concern to police.

Your are not going to get anything better from that camera clip. you cant even tell who was walking by on the side.

I would suggest reading in the forums and working on your system. its apparent that no night testing was done on your system, when you buy a camera from someone, test it to see if it meets your needs. If you find the camera not picking up the detail needed bring it back to the person that sold it to you and ask for something better, but explain why your bringing it back. maybe they can help you find a better one. to me it looks like That camera would have only worked better at ground level close up for that night shot.

The reason that they are targeting is that they use this tactic to blackmail ppl. After the first blast we started to receive phone calls and they demanded 50 Million + rupees. but we couldn't meet there demand so targeted again. Police is very cooperative they have deployed 2 police men on each side of my house and they survilance the area 24 hrs a day. But unfortunately at the time of the second blast the police that was suppose to do his duty at that time was running late. Police has also given us body guards that move with us.

In my country the police are not technological advance that's y I posted the request here that may be some one can make there investigation Easy.

I m still in high hope that some one will get something usefull from the video for us to work with.

Me too! Perhaps I was a little too quick to make light of the situation, my only excuse is that I had no perception that such situations could exist other than in fiction. There are parts of the world where piracy exists (again which I could not perceive) so it must be that in Peshwar the 'thuggies' are no faerie tale but a reality most of us do not have to live with. It must be terrifying for your family.
