noeyedeer 0 Posted May 22, 2015 I have a QVIS 16 Channel Zeus Apollo 2TB DVR, ever since I have had it ,it has concerned me that if I had a break-in & they stole my DVR any recording of the thief would be gone, I was looking to buy a Seagate Expansion 2 TB,External HD or a Western Digital My Book 2TB HD & plug these into a USB & hide the external drive away from the DVR, alternatively could I take the HD out of the machine, put it in a HD case & plug that into a USB & hide that away. Also, some external hard drives are not adequately ventilated for heat dissipation.
