curtb 0 Posted October 3, 2015 Hello,newbie here and hoping to get some help here to get me set up with a wireless camera sending to a receiver in order for DVR to record camera,DVR has a basic cable "in",and RCA video "in" along with S video "in".Just looking for a simple basic setup,can anyone suggest something that doesnt break the bank,maybe one on Ebay...distance from camera to DVR will be at most 20 feet.This is in my house and want to record driveway,so its not a fancy DVR.Any help greatly appreciated. Was hoping to do something for under $100,wish I could afford some high end but not right now. for about 100 dollars you can use a single IP camera with a build in SD card. This will have two benefits. 1) MUCH better image quality than analog, night and day difference. 2) if the wifi connection drops everything is still recorded to the sd card. Search google for Hikvision 2CD2110F-IW or Hikvision 2CD2120F-IW These can be had for 119 and 129 respectively....they will not work with your DVR but have a built in Recording function..
