hard reset could be done by pressing 5 times the anti theft button they say...

Second thing: power on the unit, while pressing the ring button till white nameplate starts flashing

good luck

I've the same problem. Did you manage to solve it?

Thank you very much.

Hi Guys,

first time I am posting on this forum! I am kind of desperate...I changed my password and copied and pasted from my vault but I can not log into my vto so I have decided to try and factory default it..

I have tried the "pressing 5 times. the anti theft button" but it keeps whistling. Do you hold it a few seconds each?? I then tried the "turn off method and turn on with the ring button pressed until the light starts flashing". It seems to have reset the IP address but not the password :(

Any help is greatly appreciated!!  I might be running an older firmware...thats my suspicion.

Hi, boroboy19
you should try the VDPConfig software. When you have found the VTO on the net you should be able to manage it.

I have a similar situation to boroboy. VDP Config will not work without a password. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
