I cut my R59 cable. How do I repair?

Recommended Posts

I accidentally cut my R59 cable (at least I'm assuming that is the name of the cable that, on one line, carries power, and on the other, carries the signal). My question is, how do I repair this?

I assume you cut both the RG59 and the 18/2 power cable? it looks like one cable but its actually 2, as you said for data and power.

I just check. Fortunately, I only cut the RG59, and not the power cable. How should I go about the repair? It would be rather aggravating if I have to run a completely new line.

Hi. All you need is two BNC plugs and a female BNC coupler.

Great. Do you have a link to where I should buy them at?
