dvr h.264 multi client software help

if anyone can help

I have a h.264 dvr it works fine

I had the software installed on a win8 pc which worked fine but since upgrading to win8.1

I have sound but no picture

the picture screens are solid black no error messages

I can search and everything

if I logon through my browser everything is there but a bit small

Sounds like it may be a driver issue or software issue with Windows 8.1, have you made sure all your drivers are up to date?

there is no updates for the software

no website either

all software came on a mini cd with no name on

the software is called multiclient-eng 11.6.27.2

it could be I have to use another software if so can you recommend one

Maybe try compatibility mode?

ive tried compatibility mode for win xp and win 7

it worked perfectly well on my old pc with xp and my new one on win8

only when I upgraded to win 8.1 the picture went black on all 4 cameras

tried turning off firewall

still the same
