American Dynamics Intellex ultra Hard Drive failure

I have a intellex ultra that works great but just recently one of the 500 gb hard drives just failed i went and bought another hard drive to replace the bad one but cant seen to get the new one installed so the intellex can use it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
