NAS Specs for 16 Analog Cameras PC-based CCTV System

Hi,

What specs should I look for if we plan to add an 8-bay NAS as additional storage to our PC-based CCTV System. 16 cameras are currently connected to the said system. What do I need so that the recording of files won't have any problems when the HDD on PC gets full it will automatically save on the NAS?

You could add JBOD (just a bunch of disks) via external MiniSAS or some kind of USB NAS or drives. What is your current PC based CCTV spec please?
