Cat 5 cable been cut - How do i extend

Hi all,

Someone has cut a cat 5 cable which i was going to install a Balun and DC2.2 female connector to it. As cable is too short, whats the best way for me to extend the cat 5e cable which is in the loft?

Your valuable advise would be greatly appreciated.

With something liks this.

Cool, will try the coupler as i then want to terminate the cat 5 cable on the DVR end to plug a balun and dc2.2 connector as its a analog DVR.

Hi if your camera is analog then don't use a coupler with baluns

Use the Neutech surgestion
