Connecting NVR via cellular or public hotspot

Hi, I have a unique application where I have a Lorex NVR on a boat, I can't get internet access (wired), in the past I was able to use a cellular hotspot and port forwarding using Lorex DDNS. This option has stopped working for unknown reasons. My location also has access to xfinity wi-fi hotspot, which I attempted to use via a Pepwave surf on the go wifi as WAN with no luck...ports are blocked. Would like to avoid the cellular connection due to cost, but will try another service provider with better speeds. Any way to use the NVR on the xfinity?...I am getting 30mb download on the xfinity.
