Remote connection problem on my dvr

Recommended Posts

Good evening to the whole family,

I currently want to connect (via Internet Explorer and other browsers) to a video recorder that I have networked.

When I enter the IP address of the video recorder in the browser, I am asked to enter

the username and password I made.

But when I connect, the following message is displayed in the browser "No video has been installed on your computer, please download ..."

I downloaded several Active X files that I installed later. But it did not work

I also saw some videos on the internet that proposed to me to modify Active X in Internet explorer. I did it and there was still no success.

I joined some files concerning this problem

Could someone help me solve this problem?

thank you in advance

Hi. These are your local settings you don’t need to hide anything . There no good to anyone.

Your http you need to change that from 80 to something like 5550

And you will need to port forward that on your router for remote

You never portforward 80.

Then type 192.168.x.x:5550 into your browser...... make shure you have administrator rights and it will load active x for you
