I just bought the falcon 204 card and Installed it tonight in a shuttle xpc. It seems to be operating, the device manager says its working properly but the FX204 software will say "Netpromax: BOARD NOT FOUND" when I try to run it. I am running Windows xp and the cd that came with the card has a directory called deviceNT so Im thinking those are windows 2000 drivers I installed.

I checked the netpromax site and didnt find any drivers so I called them and asked for some help. They told me this card will only work with 2 certin intel chipsets (my board is nVidia) but every where I look on thier site and in the manuel that was on the cd dont say anything about that. It says in the list of requierments "Mainboard: Intel 815 mini-board or better one" well my nVidia board is better than that one by far.

What I want to know is there any truth to what they told me? Did I waste my time and money on a useless card? I mean come on the 815 board is a p3 board and they say minimum of a 1.7 ghz but the fastest p3 was a p3e running at 1.2 ghz. Are these people insane what monkey came up with this stuff.
