miryousafzai 0 Posted April 4, 2015 Dear All, I have an Axis P-1354 Outdoor Camera. I need to install it at a distance of 200meter from the control room switch. Can I use Axis POE Injector to enhance the signal at distance of 100meter in middle using Cat6? Just to know that the POE Injector job is just to power up the camera or it can also enhance the signal and can function as switch. Thanks in advance. Other options: Axis' T8129 PoE extender (also available from other brands) Axis' T8160 PoE over coax - and run good quality coax (also available from other brands) Veracity Longspan etc etc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
survtech 0 Posted April 4, 2015 Many options. Ethernet extenders can easily supply PoE 200M, unless the camera has power hungry heaters/blowers. You need to know the power requirements of the camera.
