Hikvision Raptor 2 5.2.0 (2012,2032,2132,2432,7232 etc)

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Looks like 5.2.0 has hit the FTP site. ftp://ftp.hikvisionusa.com/

Obvious changes include:

- Multi languages are back (if the camera is EN region)!

- Platform access support (EZVIZ Cloud P2P)

- SSH daemon

- No face detection

- "Dual-VCA which can be used cooperatively with NVR to implement dual-VCA retrieval during playback"

There's probably others - these are what I noticed.

Also I would like to confirm tested with my region change solution and no problems observed, either for people who changed before 5.2.0 or whilst 5.2.0 is loaded.

Something about EZVIZ Cloud P2P.

It's not something I've looked into though - so maybe cloud support was misleading.

It looks like they removed the ability to enable/disable telent

No it's moved to Security. They even added SSH (dropbear)

Cool, I didn't even notice

Seems like a logical spot for it anyways

In their latest Android app, it lists this too and has a link to register for it.

Yup, I did register, but so far I have been unable to know how this works. Will try to understand it, I guess it must be some kind of P2P?

Anybody know the English hack for 5.2.0?

Thanks in advance

You mean davinci path?

For what?

Use CBX utility, and forget about all

You mean davinci path?

For what? it's useless and not cool!

Although it is possible to find a similar place in the code is not difficult, but it is better to support the decision of the CBX!

Buy CBX utility, and forget about all forever

Well I thought I could just copy the davinci.tar.gz file off of my USA camera running 5.2.0 and copy it to my Chinese serial number camera

enabled ftp through telnet

used filezilla to connect to the camera's ftp server, root/password, no joy, connection refused

went through telnet to copy the file to my ftp server

bin/ftpput, file not found

cd bin

ls

ftpput is not even listed anymore, gone

Tried to downgrade the Chinese camera back to 5.1.2, 5.1.0, 5.1.6 using both the "Chinese" and English versions of the firmware, no joy either

So I am stuck with 5.2 on Chinese language camera that I can not "make English" anymore

I will have to take the camera down, plug it into 12v and tftp 5.1.6 onto it and fix it that way (unless this would work through POE?) would save me from getting out the ladder.

I did not like 5.1.2, the night vision was very dark compared to 5.1.0, but 5.1.0 won't let it record to my NVR because of flaw in the firmware.

Looks like they removed the ftp daemon

Anyone tried enabling SSH and copying to camera using scp?

I'm still using my own compiled dropbear which works with scp but no idea about version included in fw.

Don't see the point in removing FTP, it's not like you can't just copy to and from a NAS share anyway (NFS, CIFS).

I created a nas share on each camera

I copied the davinci.tar.gz file from my US camera (English) over to the Chinese camera and rebooted that camera, still Chinese

I have a feeling they don't want us doing this anymore

I wanted to flash the 5.2.0 on my Ds-2CD2032-I and have probably destroyed the "davinci.tar.gz" on the cam. I can not ping the camera, hard reset did not help. Someone an idea what I have to do? thanks

Anyone tried enabling SSH and copying to camera using scp?

Tested and no doesn't work.

Think NAS share or SD card best way to go.

I was able to connect through a NAS share, but I don't know what to change on the Davinci.tar.gz file.

I tried to copy the davinci.tar.gz file from my US camera over, but no go, still Chinese, I just don't know the hack

Hi,

I can't acces the FTP Server.

I get the error: "550 Can't change directory to /Hikvision_IP_Camera_Firmware/: No such file or directory".

I can't access www.hikvisioneurope.com/portal/ anymore.

I don't get a nsloopup for hikvisioneurope.com anymore.

Can anybody send me the 5.2.0 firmware over PN?

Greetings

Lapheus
