Getting the Hikvsion H.264 Stream with motion

Has anyone had any luck getting the Hikvision H.264 mainstream with "motion" (LInux command line App)? I tried the commercial Xeoma App, but it only gets me a frameskipped version of the stream. Good enough for government work, but not for anything else.
