xrayhead 0 Posted May 24, 2015 Hi All Can someone please tell me the difference between the Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2/8P 8CH NVR and the DS-7108N-SN/P 8CH NVR. xrayhead 0 Posted May 24, 2015 Ok so looking into this a little more i notice that the 7608 and 7108 have the following difference's DS-7608 5MP / 3MP / 1080P / 720p Gig network interface 2 SATA Interface's 2 Way Voice DS-7108 1080P / 720p 100M Network Interface 1 SATA Interface Have I missed anything out as I still think the price difference is very large in comparison? khx73 0 Posted May 24, 2015 Just some quick thoughts... Future expandability with the 7608.. (3mp, 5mp) Gigabit network interface. Could saturate a 100m one if you do heavy streaming over the LAN of multiple hi res streams. The voice thing.. if you ever intended to add cameras that support it. The big thing, 2 SATA ports... You can add a second drive internally and instantly have a lot extra storage. With the 7108 you're stuck with what it has. 7608 looks to be a much more powerful unit overall. Not sure what the price diff is you're talking about. I'd go with the 7608 unless it was just way too much. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
