Time Lapse with Live viewing

We have a client that is looking for a time lapse camera that they can live view remotely for a construction site. There is no wifi available and we will need to reply on solar power, batteries and a 4g connection to a cloud storage.

Does anyone have a camera in mind that would work well for this solution as well as the 4g transmission, cloud storage and even solar pack?

Get a IP Camera with SD Storage. The Camera must be able to configure to take snapshot at interval and store them in the SD storage.

NOT all cameras support that. Some only allow for video recording, or snapshot when event is triggered, e.g. motion and NOT at an interval.

We used some models of HIKVISION cameras, and they do support it.

For solar, you'll need a panel, charger, battery.

Specs you'll have to calculate the consumption of your equipment. Amount of sunlight also matters.

Networking, a 3/4G Router with a 3/4G Plan.

Did quite a number of such projects, and they are still running. Some project completed and time lapsed video produced.

we did a construction site a few years ago and used an analog camera and a pc in the construction trailer. The software had the ability to set capture rates and set a schedule basically it allowed us to only capture say one frame every ten seconds for ten hours a day and no capture at night and weekends. There is editing software that lets you cut frames and add music etc. The 6 month construction project was condensed to about 7 min. You should not consider this as a security project as there is a lot of down time.
