Infrared wifi ip camera to monitor rat in the night!

I need outdoor wifi IP infrared camera to arrange in small techincal room (3x2x2 m) and to save video events in the night.

My scope is to intercept rats and angle of view must be wide because room is small, I wish good good camera lens to register (720p or 1080p) events in the NIGHT.

I don't know if It exists the automatic mechanism which permit to save videto internal SD card if wifi signal was not enough sufficient.

Can you suggest me some brand or models to buy please?

You can do that with most. Dahua makes an IP camera with a Micro SD card slot. You can configure the camera with it's own motion detection to record to the SD card. It is also sold under the SavvyPixel name and a few others I think. I use the 3MP and 4MP cameras. They have a lens at 2.8mm. I think I have seen a variable lens in this version, but don't recall if it was wifi.
