Need advice for software options for Axis PTZ camera

Recommended Posts

Hello to all,

I recently bought the AXIS Q6115-E PTZ camera and are looking for good software for that camera and some other fixed dome Axis cameras.

I have an old 4 camera license for software that Axis is phasing out and I tried the demo of their new software and it was a bit underwhelming.

Their new software seems to be all about the cloud which I'm not a fan of . And I just don't want to buy more licenses.

I would rather pay for good software that I can add lots of cameras to if need be.

At the same time I need software that can give me the quality images that the Q6115 was made to.

Any suggestions you guys can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Look into Blue Iris, it is highly configurable and supports many cameras. It costs about $60 but has a free trial version.

Milestone is another one.
