Hikvision DS2CD2032 loses IP reverts to factory setting

Recommended Posts

OK my 2032 bullet cam reverts to the factory IP, each time BI is started. I use SADP and see that the factory setting is 192.0.0.64, serial number is DS-2CD2032-I20150327CCCH509199913, IPv4 gateway is 0.0.0.0...I change it successfully to 192.168.0.73, gateway 192.168.0.1, BI then sees it. But is a few days the IP in the cam changes back to default and BI cant see it.

If I plug the cam into my computer, change the IPv4 connection to 192.0.0.2, and gateway to 0.0.0.0, and go to my browser, I can see the CAM at 192.0.0.64. Do you guys think this cam is never going to keep the IP setting?

I have an old DS-2CD2132-I that was being set back to default every couple of days. I finally un-forwarded the port and it stopped. Try blocking your camera from internet access.

Hey 51cents, I am not sure how to block internet or port forward...All my cameras are on port 80, each with static IPs starting with 192.168.0.70 thru 192.168 0.83, my dhcp in my router is limited to 192.168.0.200 thru 192.168.0.220, all other connected devices to my router have static IPs

If you can access your cameras away from home, chances are you have port(s) forwarded. Here is an open port check tool.

If BI is BlueIris, update to the latest version, and/or update the cameras firmware.
