Avigilon license upgrade

I have read here in the past that adding a newer version license will upgrade the older licenses attached to the server.

I am wondering if this is still how the license upgrade works? I have version 5 licenses and am adding new licenses that are version 6.

You have to upgrade Ver 5 first (to ver 6)

then u can add Ver 6 Lic

Thanks for the info. Looks like we'll be sticking with version 5 for a while yet.

4 to 5 was easy. One camera license and you were golden.

Now with 5 to 6 it's a cost per camera.

ACC 5 to 6 Standard is 15.00 per camera MSRP.

ACC 5 to 6 Enterprise is 30.00 per camera MSRP.
