GV800B - Bad quality on my DVR Card

Recommended Posts

Hi guys!

I have a new PC with Windows 7 64 bit system (configuration at the end of the page) with a GV800 DVR card (software 8.5.3). I have problem in image quality, images are blurred and distorted.

However, on my old PC with Windows XP 32-bit system (configuration at the end of the page) and the same DVR card GV800B (software 8.3.4) the quality is much better.

According to the manufacturer GV800B my hardware version 5.4 supports Windows 7 64-bit.

What can I do? Help!

Capture Card: GV800 (Version 5.40)

Software: GeoVision GV-800 System (version 8.5.3)

is it the identical card in both the old and new computer? or did you buy a new card for the new computer?

Dear,

I have ran into the same issu before and finally was convinced that its VGA driver/ActiveX issue

I've tried the same machine using same card once with windows 7 and once with windows XP the picture looked betted on XP.

my suggestion is to try either a newer driver or ultimately add a newer VGA card.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.
