But it’s the right answer

Do you know what not supported by windows means ?

Yes it’s an easy answer as I worked for VCL for years.

Your dvr was made by vcl and has Honeywell name on it because Honeywell took over vcl the same time as your 15 year old cif recorder.

360x240 resolution is a wasted of time .

But the easy answer .... the cd will not load on your windows 10 the licence expired 8 years ago and there is nothing you can do about that.

I understand but this is not my dvr, im a network tech in a compagny.

The costumer dont understand they have to change the camera because they change of windows and I understand it.. thats weird.

I contacted the security camera support in my city and they found the old cd of 2008, installed it and the program run... but that's for HRDP and it dont want to connect

I want it for HRDE, if you worked for this compagny, do you have it?

im a network tech in a compagny.

Then why do you not understand it will not run.

It won't run on the 2008 HRDP ....what makes you think HRDE from 2003 will work.

And its proprietary software .....so what happends if you need to to use footage ?

But you as a network tech should know this .......or at least explain it to your customer better. And you keep saying camera ......it's a dvr.

You can pick up a 960h dvr for next to nothing that will still run your old cameras but give you the Windows 10 option.

And if your charging your customer ......do the right thing

Im french and Im not an expert in DVR, i dont work 40h week on it, i just reconfigure it with ip adresses, forward ip and install it on computer with the given application.

Im not the only tech here, they think like me, changing all the DVR because we change to 10 " title="Applause" /> . I know maybe your application wont work anymore on 64bits but no alternative no nothing? Ispy?
