power supply for kantech

Recommended Posts

I have 4 kt-300 panels. the each require a 16.5 vac 40va power supply. I want to consolidate the units to one power supply so I don't have all this power bricks sitting around. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know what you have your panels controlling. door locks / keypads ..... but i would say not a good idea. at the moment if one unit or power unit goes down you will only loose that zone. connect all nits to one power unit and everything goes down. yes each unit as battery back-up ....... batteries dont last long in that unit.
