Can't figure out password on Dahua based DVR

Current date & time from login menu?

If you have old model there is free password genetar or free telnet access (vizxv)

Already did, nothing, the admin pass was changed and forgot and for 888888 nothing works, I need some how to reset it,have no clue what to do.

try 668648 for admin

or telnet

I am also having a hard time accessing my Dahua based DVR. admin / admin does not work, and account 888888 does not exist. I can get user-level access with 666666, but that is it.

 

EDIT: Time on the unit is correct, so...the time on this post.

try user default password default (old systems had this)

An error box pops up which says "The user has logged in.", but nothing comes up, the login screen never changes. Logging in with the 666666 account at least allows me to see the cameras, so I know the browser & plugins are working.

 

EDIT: The login screen shows a "WEB Service 2.0" image.
