Speco Tech won't accept passwords Model DVR-16TN

Hello. I'm not sure if someone can help me, but I was at a clients house working on their old Speco Technologies system. Someone else put it in about 7 years ago, and went out of business. After entering as an admin, I changed the password from the default 1234 to something new. Then, I access it through the LAN after downloading active X, and it asks me for username and password. I type in admin/**** and I get a log in error. Same thing when I set up USER1 password.

 

I should have snapped a photo of the error, but i think it said "login failed". Is anyone out there familiar with Sepco, and have any ideas? I want to be more prepared when I go back.

Responding to my own question, in case anyone has this problem.

 

1. Can not use modern day browsers with TN series... firmware is too old, and will give log-in error

 

2. Was able to download client software, as well as IPcam view for android... worked great.

 

3. Note, that username is "admin", not "admin1" like it says in the software set up. Drop the "1", or it will not work. Insane, I know.
