Floureon 8ch D1 DVR issue- will only record on ch1 and c2

Recommended Posts

I have just set up my Floureon 8ch DVR so far I have installed 4 of the cameras

This is the exact system http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLOUREON-CCTV-8CH-H-264-Full-D1-HDMI-DVR-Recorder-8-Outdoor-Camera-Security-Kit-/261348775285?pt=UK_CCTV&hash=item3cd999d575

I have set it up on motion detection but when I tested the system it seems to only record ch1 and ch1.

If I click on view cams 1,2,3,4 on [playback it tells me I can only record on 2 channels.

I need it to record on only 1 or 2 channels but this needs to include all the others as well.

as it stands at the moment the inside of my warehouse and my shop records on motion detection (ch1, ch2) but when there is movement on and of the other channels (ch3, ch4) noting happens.

I have read the instructions over and over and nothing mentions this.

I cant see where im going wrong.

Also the quality is terrible considering the examples shown on the ebay auction even though ive got it set on the top settings it all looks a bit blurry

any assistance in this would be fantastic.

cheers

I have the exact same model and thought at first that this was a problem too. Your right the user manual is next to useless. I have discovered that all the cameras set up are in fact recording, it is just that you can only view two of them at the same time. If you go to the bottom of the screen when you are in playback mode you can deselect one of the cameras and re-select another one. This way you can view all the camera footage although not at the same time.
