Anyone knows how the default AVTech DDNS operate?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Two weeks ago I configured a DVR (AVTech KPD677ZL (EU)) with the default DDNS ("name.ddns.dvrtw.com.tw") but I doesn't write a e-mail account.

These days the DDNS works good, but yesterday fails.

Now I configured another time with an email account and works good.

Do you know if the issue was that I doesn't write an email?? The AVTech DDNS is recommended? When 15 days passed, the DDNS will fail another time?

In the DVR the other DDNS server that appears are: dyndns, statdns, cn99, no-ip, myq-see.

thank you a lot for the help, and i'm sorry for my 'english'!

goodbye.

Hi willicast,

you can used hostname.ddns.eagleeyes.tw

you need to upgrade your firmware to the latest version of Avtech dvr.

no need to put an email address

you can download the firmware to the www.avtech.com.tw website

regards,
