Numb-nuts 1 Posted February 26, 2015 if you can install one into a computer you can do so on aa DVR yourself. some will format immediately and some you will need to actively format but it's not difficult. Before you buy another HDD establish if it's a sata or IDE and replace it with an appropriate hard drive. Handle the drive carefully and no hard knocks, Be aware of static electricity and take precautions to avoid static electric discharge.
