HikVision NVR DS-7616NI-SE/P Not Showing Some Camera Images

Hello,

 

I have a Hikvision NVR DS-7616NI-SE/P running V2.3.10 build 141128. I have 10 IP Cameras all Hikvision. Eight of the cameras are connected to the NVR POE Switch and have the 192.168.254.x IP assigned to them. The other two are on a separate POE Switch and have a 10.0.5.x IP. I have changed the default admin password on all cameras and the NVR. The NVR can connect to all cameras. I can also connect to the cameras using the NVR's Virtual Host.

 

What I cannot do is see images for 50% of the cameras. Using IE, Firefox, Chrome or the HikVision APPS on Android and IOS Live View does not work for half of the cameras. For the cameras that do not have images in Live View they also do not have images when you attempt to program motion detection or any setting via the NVR. I can however login to each camera via Virtual Host and see the images.

 

As far as trouble shooting I have. defaulted the NVR and Cameras at least three times. (Even though nothing was wrong with the cameras before the NVR Firmware Upgrade. I have also downloaded the NVR Firmware again and reinstalled it using the web UI. The firmware installed and the NVR rebooted. At this point I am totally stumped on how to fix the issue.

Can you please check the Firmware of the NVR and each IP Camera and let me know thanks. The first thing i would do is make sure everything is up to date

 

 

If your NVR is not on 3.0.10, please download from here:

This FW is for the IP Cameras DS-2CD2XX2 FW Version 5.2.3:

If you have other cameras with a different model number, please let me know so that i can get you the right FW.

 

Please upgrade your devices and after all have been upgraded, please clear your web browser data and reopen the web browsers.

 

Also make sure you install the latest web component if it asks you when you try to log into the NVR
