Generic DVR admin Password or model ID

Hi all,

I'm currently installing a Access Control system for a client and came across a problem I need to resolve.

The Client is using an OLD Generic 8 Channel DVR and the previous Security Guard Service replaced the admin password and forgot it.

Now I need to reset this password to complete my installation. I would like to opt for resetting password without loosing stored video,

as client states they have a pending video extraction they need. I will offer whatever options I can.

I don't even know what brand or model I have to call any service for help!

A model identification could be very useful also.

I will include what I know and pictures of the DVR.

1. Password filed is 10 characters long. (just for reference)

2. I've tried all default passwords found. 000000, 111111, 888888, 123456 (I've tried with 4 number and 6 numbers and 8 numbers) no luck.

3. I've tried all password generators found (3 of them) no luck.

4. The system date is set to 01/01/1970 (low voltage battery), when battery is removed the date goes to 5/26/2023... date returns to 1970 when old battery is re inserted

5. System is on IP 192.168.1.114 I can telnet but don't know the ROOT PASSWORD!

ANY help to identify DVR or reset password will be welcomed.

If need be I can always install the hard drive in a Linux system and try to get the Root password using various utilities, if this could be an option?

Sorry for the SPANISH menu and PROMPTS the system is also set to Spanish.

Was able to reset user via front panel buttons (esc) and (arrow up) key sequences

I have the same dvr and cannot get past the aadmin passowrd screen. Someone plz help

SiRaDuDe friend, you can help me with the default password for the user "admin" I did the reset with the "ESC" key, but still can not get to admin.

I tried 0000, 000000, 1234, 123456, admin, and nothing. What you used your?

I have the same dvr, not work with esc, not work with generic 111111, 22222 and not for with superpassword program. Any other suggestions??? Please Help me!!!
