Lost Admin Password

Hi Guys,

I'm from the UK and purchased a DVR915 unit 2 years ago and until tonight its been working flawless but............

I attempted to reset the network settings so I can try and access the footage from outside my network but for some unknown the system now asks for a admin password.

I've tried

1234

And so far nothing works.

Any ideas?

Just to update thread.

I've binned this DVR and purchased another.

I have H.264 Digital Video Recorder (black) Model: 7116HV Digital Video Recorder System H.264 Video Compression System:PAL Serial 20140324000891 (back side 16 video in 1=video out coaxial, 1x vga, 1x HDMI, 1x RJ45 network, 4x audio in )

i have set a password for admin on dvr if i try admin with password it says the default passwrd is null and invalid password and if i try using web interface and accessing dvr it accept admin with my password i want to set date and time but i am unable to do it

three chips are named nextchip nVC1700 D4u915 1335

2 chips are NVP1118B

one chip is apex AT3664324T-7H

i dont know how to reset password and if there is any available tool or software i try some super password but not successful
