Detected Motion Not Recorded

There is no manufacturer name or model number on the box... believe it to be a A/V Tech device. On the front is 4 CH H.264 DVR. Am able to get the motion icon when motion is detected, but it does not record.

On page 33, make sure that the schedule area is all "blue" to motion record 24hrs. Click "Apply" and "OK". Not relative this, but would recommend setting for Prev and Post to at least 5 seconds and Hard Disk Overwrite checked. Of course, I'm taking for granted that this DVR has a hard-drive installed!

For replying, is the Quote the proper way?

I know its tough not having the correct manual, etc. My unit is a bit different than that shown on page 33, but on the schedule selection page there is a screen for Record and a screen for Detection. On both screens 24 hours a day for all 7 days are selected. I'm using only channel 1 and detection is enable for that channel.
