Hikvision ds7604 E14P NVR shutdown button (turning off how?)

the manual says to turn off the device using the shutdown menu button but i dont have such option in the menu. i only have a lock device button. right now my only way to shut down the nvr is to turn off the switch in the back which i believe has caused me to damage 2 harddrives already. i tested the system with 3 cameras yesterday and it all worked fine, recording and all. installed it today, when to turn it on and it shows the hard drive but it says there is 0 free space eventhough it is a 2TB HDD. and the NVR doesnt do anything when i ask it to initialize the HD.

user manual is general for many models , so this model have not switch button.

For HD try to do again format.

What brand of HD do you use?
