DVR not turning on after update

My friend bought a cctv system 8 cameras an a DVR 3 years ago , there is no name on the dvr its self but when scanned from an app it comes up with active vision 360

After Updating software it turned off and turned on with a white screen that flicks on and off

I have been on support site there really isnt much i have a also emailed them

Ive attached some image when it was working maybe it might help

Hi. Once firmware has gone wrong there is no much you can do .

You might find the maker of your unit .. But it's all time and effort

For what it costs for a new branded dvr with hard drive is it worth the hassle
