Hikvision Login Problem

Hi,

 

I had my system working ( could login remotely over LAN and WAN ) but hadn't used for a while.

Now when I login ( via LAN or remotely on my phone or computer ) I get error messages.

My LAN says password is incorrect and iVMS4200 on phone gives error code: 55.

I have checked password.I can login on DVR directly with password but password isn't recognised elsewhere.

Sounds like your password to the application is wrong.

Totally different than logging into the device.

I think there is a password reset in the IVMS software with the secret questions you had to enter when you set it up.
