downloading video files from laview LV-N9916C6E

hi, i have a LV-N9916C6E and when i click download recording a pop-up comes up and it allows me to select any of the recording from that day. i select one and click download and it proceeds to download and then say "downloaded" next to the file yet there is no file that is downloaded onto the computer or produced anywhere else. i am logging in through the webgui. does anyone have any experience with these? any help would be awesome! kind of stuck
